Donald Eugene Sisk, age 86, of Austin, TX and formerly of Princeton, KY passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at St. David South Austin Medical Center, Austin, TX. Mr. Sisk was born on September 9, 1933 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Garland Sisk and Mary Lucille Vaughn Sisk. He served his country in the US Army and he was a truck driver most of his working life. Mr. Sisk was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Sisk is survived by his loving wife ~ Wanda Christine Sisk of Austin, TX; a daughter ~ Teresa Griffin and her husband, Robert, of Austin, TX, a son ~ Donald Eugene Sisk, Jr. and his wife, Pat, of Branson, MO; two sisters ~ Naomi Beshears of Hopkinsville, KY and Magdalene Ladd of Eddyville, KY; three grandchildren ~ Daniel Sisk of IN, Tammy Boehman of Texas, and Kali Havlick of NC; and four great grandchildren ~ Amaya Boehman, Isaac Boehman, Quinten Blake, and Kaiya Thacker.
Mr. Sisk is preceded in death by a sister ~ Adelaide Sisk and a brother ~ John Sisk.
Visitation for Donald E. Sisk will be on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Wayne Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers include Don Sisk, Jr., David Purdy, Cody Hook, Ben Boehman, Jason Thacker, Quinten Blake and Donald Stevens.
