Kathy Sue Parsons

Kathy Sue Parsons, age 57, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Parsons was born on February 24, 1967 in Philadelphia, PA.. She was a 1984 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and was an elementary and middle school teacher.  Mrs. Parsons had a Masters degree in education and was a reading specialist.   She was a member of the First Christian Church of Dawson Springs, KY.

  
 She is survived by her husband of 35 years ~ Scotty Ray Parsons of Dawson Springs, KY; two daughters ~ Miranda Parsons and Cynthia Parsons both of Dawson Springs, KY; her father ~ Virgil Kimmel of Dawson Springs, KY; a sister ~ Kala Kimmel of Dawson Springs, KY; two grandchildren ~ Kiron and Aurianne Browning.

 
  She was preceded in death by her mother, Susie Bell Kimmel.

  Visitation for Mrs. Kathy Sue Parsons will be Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY.  Dr. Milton West and Elder Jeff Winfrey will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.  

Pallbearers will be Joey McCuiston, Carlton McCuiston, Steve Vaughn, Grant McCuiston, Nicholas Hildebrand and Ross Workman.
