Ivyal Jean Neisz

Ivyal Jean Neisz, age 82, of Dawson Springs passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.  Mrs. Neisz was born on August 29, 1941 in Christian County, KY to the late Roscoe Parker and Imogene Adams Vickery. She was a member of Lafayette Baptist Church in Dawson Springs and was a 1960 graduate of South Hopkins High School. Mrs. Neisz worked as a dietary supervisor at Tradewater Health and Rehab and at Dawson Pointe Nursing Home in Dawson Springs, KY.  She was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 133.

 She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 ½ years ~ Carroll Neisz of Dawson Springs, KY; her son ~ Ron (Jennifer) Neisz of Ft. Myers, FL; three sisters ~ Edna Chastain of Cadiz, KY, Sherry Holland of Easley, SC, and Glenda (L.D.) Robertson of Cadiz, KY; three brothers ~ Dennis (JoAnn) Parker, Myron (Felicia) Parker and Aldin (Carolyn) Parker all of Christian County, KY; a bonus daughter ~ Melissa Hughes of Fredonia, KY; grandchildren ~ Devon Neisz, Arlen Neisz, Damon (Allison) Hogan; bonus granddaughter ~ Addie Hollis; great-grandsons ~ Jackson Alexander Hogan and Jackson Alexander Rains and a daughter-in-law ~ Shawn Neisz.

Mrs. Neisz is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son ~ Mike Neisz (departed 9/29/2007)

Visitation for Mrs. Ivyal Jean Neisz will be Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 6:00 -8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY.   Eastern Star Rites will be performed at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. until the 2:00 P.M. funeral hour with Rev. Ralph Alexander and Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY.

Active Pallbearers will be:  Myron Parker, Derek Parker, Randy Cannon, Dennis Parker, Donnie Dunbar and Donnie Davis.  Larry Neisz has been named and Honorary Pallbearer.
