William Lewis “Bill” Kittinger, age 88, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Continued Care at Baptist Health, Madisonville, KY. Mr. Kittinger was born on February 8, 1931 in Dawson Springs, Kentucky to the late Herbert Leroy Kittinger and Erma Lorain Fox Kittinger. He was a member of the Al E Orton Masonic Lodge of Dawson Springs, KY and an existing member and past state president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Mr. Kittinger was a graduate of Dawson Springs High School and a member of the United Methodist Church of Dawson Springs, KY.
He is survived by his wife ~ Cecil Faye Purdy Kittinger of Dawson Springs, KY; two daughters ~ Lorain Smith of Charleston, KY and Margaret (Todd) Mesaris of Dawson Springs, KY; several grandchildren ~ Debra & (Brad) Brumfield, Billy & (Nikki) Morgan, Misty Hayden, Bryan (Amber) Hunt; several great-grandchildren ~ Whitney & (Ryan) Clemons, Ashton Brumfield & (Dylan Baker), Jacob Hunt, Salem Hunt, Aria Hunt, Alexis Morgan & (Jeremy), McKenzie Morgan, Madyson Morgan, Mia Morgan, Maycee Morgan, William Chase, Caiden Morgan, and Bryan Morgan; several great-great grandchildren ~ Jonah Clemons, Bradyn Clemons, and Colton & Noah Corrao. Additionally, he is survived by two sisters ~ Phyllis Alan of Central City, KY, and Lana Seawright of Atlanta, GA, and one brother ~ Robert “Toots” Kittinger of St. Louis, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law ~ William Mike Smith and a brother ~ Herbert Lee Kittinger, Jr.
Visitation for Mr. William Lewis Kittinger will be Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 9:30 AM through 11:30 AM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. A little speech will be offered by Nephew, Mike Davis. Burial will follow at Dunn Cemetery.
