Wanda Louise Calvert

Wanda Louise Calvert, age 78, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Calvert was born on February 17, 1941 in Madisonville, KY to the late William Roy Beshear and Margaret Louise Dockrey Beshear. She worked for more than thirty years at Ottenheimer Manufacturing and was a member of Baptist Temple Church in Dawson Springs, KY.



Mrs. Calvert is survived by her husband of 61 years ~ Jewel R. “Buddy” Calvert of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter ~ Lisa Purdy of Dawson Springs, KY; a son and daughter-in-law ~ Jeff and Brenda Calvert of Providence, KY; a sister ~ Debbie Futrell of Dawson Springs, KY; three grandchildren ~ Karissa (Austin) Russell, Kaila (Todd) Bullock and Madison Purdy; and three great-grandchildren ~ Paityn Russell, Brandon Bullock and Gabriella Bullock.



She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister ~ Shirley Melton.



Visitation for Mrs. Wanda Calvert will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 12:00 -3:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Howton and Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be Troy Thomas, Brady Brooks, Todd Bullock, Grayson Thomas, Kevin Brooks and Kevin Lynn. Austin Russell will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
