Thelma Traylor

Thelma Traylor, age 91, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Tradewater Pointe Health & Rehab, Dawson Springs, KY. Ms. Traylor was born on October 12, 1928 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Lenard Traylor and Gertha McGregor Traylor. She was a seamstress and worked many years at Ottenheimer in Dawson Springs, Ky and Carhartt in Providence, KY. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.



Ms. Traylor is survived by two brothers, Thomas (Frances) Traylor of Princeton, KY and Garnett (Mary Anna) Traylor of Nebo, KY; one sister-in-law, Shirley Traylor of Nebo, KY, and three sisters, Mary Kirkwood, Beulah, KY, Hazel Alfred, Beulah, KY and Juanita Hankins of Woodbury, TN.



Ms. Traylor is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Traylor, and two sisters, Lorene Traylor and Marie Strong.



Visitation for Ms. Thelma Traylor will be Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM, at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Patrick Yates will officiate the funeral service. Burial will follow at the Old Beulah Cemetery. Active pallbearers include Keith Traylor, Brian Kirkwood, Wayne Kirkwood, Robert Dale Dunning, Ronnie Kirkwood and Jared Yates.
