Stephen Ernest Jones

Stephen Ernest Jones, age 71, of Princeton, KY and formerly of Caldwell County near Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Princeton Health & Rehab Center. Mr. Jones was born on January 16, 1950 in Madisonville, KY to the late Clifton Ernest Jones and Mary Kathryn Orange Jones. He worked for over 40 years with Pennyroyal Industries in Princeton, KY. Mr. Jones was a current member of New Salem Baptist Church in Nortonville, KY and a former long time member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Caldwell County near Dawson Springs, KY. Mr. Jones was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan.



He is survived by two brothers, Michael (Gloria) Jones of Lyon County, KY; Danny (Teresa) Jones of Princeton, KY and one sister, Debbie (Kevin) Hopper of Crofton, KY and many nieces and nephews.



Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents.



Visitation for Mr. Stephen Ernest Jones will be on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Johnnie Davis, Rev. Steve Rutherford and Rev. Jeff Boone will officiate. Burial will follow at Creekmur Cemetery.



Active Pallbearers include Dan Jones II, Brad Jones, David Jones, Jim Hicks, John Taylor and Larry York.



In an effort to deter the spread of covid-19 face masks and social distancing will be required.
