Shirley Louise Arrington

Shirley Louise Arrington, age 84, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Arrington was born on February 25, 1941 in Chicago, IL to the late Daniel Barton and Gladys Blanch Barton. She worked for many years as a nurse aide and was the church administrator at Holman Avenue Baptist Church in Markham, IL. Mrs. Arrington was a member of Adriel Baptist Church in Hopkins County, KY.

She is survived by two sons ~ Niles (Mary) Arrington of Clarksville, TN and Junior (Michelle) Arrington of Lansing, IL; one brother ~ Daniel (Lisa) Barton of Grant Park, IL and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband ~ John C. Fields; her second husband ~ Floyd Arrington; her son ~ Robbie Arrington and her brother ~ Daniel Gabriel Barton.

There will be a memorial visitation for Shirley Louise Arrington on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Rosedale Cemetery with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating.
