Shellie William Dalton

Shellie William Dalton, age 65, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at The Medical Center Hospital, Bowling Green, KY. Mr. Dalton was born on June 14, 1956 to the late Alvis Dalton and Sanarah Poe Dalton. He served many years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, and he was a member of the Walnut Grove Church, Dawson Springs, KY.



Mr. Dalton is survived by one sister, Jacqueline Nichols (Byron) of Randle, WA; two brothers, Larry Mathis of Central City, KY, and Gregory Dalton (Barbara) of Henderson, KY.



Preceding Mr. Dalton in death are his parents; one brother, Kent Mathis; and one sister, Beverly Benedict.



A graveside service will be held for Shellie William Dalton on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Walnut Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Mathis officiating. The U.S. Army will provide a Military Honor Service at the conclusion of the service.



Pallbearers include Sterling Wallace, Ron Coates, Larry Mathis, David Groves, Rev. Jackie Mathis and Trevor Sewell.
