Ruffus Adamson

Ruffus Adamson, age 79, of Charleston, KY passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Dawson Springs Health and Rehabilitation, Dawson Springs, KY. Mr. Adamson was born November 3, 1941 in Hopkins County, KY to the late George Adamson and Nellie Creekmur Adamson. He was a self employed logger all of his life and a member of the Beulah Bible Baptist Church. He was a musician and loved to play the guitar and piano.



Mr. Adamson is survived by a daughter, Diane Crook (Kevin Cansler) of Crofton, KY; three sons, Michael Adamson and (Laura Martin) of Princeton, KY, David (Chastity) Adamson of Hanson, KY, and Charlie (Tabitha) Adamson of Hanson, KY; two brothers, Harold Adamson and William Adamson of Dawson Springs, KY; three sisters, Shirley Menser, Geraldine Skimehorn and Rosie Mae Jones of Dawson Springs, KY; eighteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.



Mr. Adamson is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Dale Adamson; a son, Billy Adamson, and many brothers and sisters.



Visitation for Mr. Rufus Adamson will be Friday, November 6, 2020, from 11:00 AM CST until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM CST at Beshear Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St., Dawson Springs, KY 42408 with burial to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Doug Barnett officiating.



Active pallbearers include Mike Adamson, David Adamson, Charlie Adamson, Jake Adamson, Vance Adamson and Dalton Adamson. Honorary Pallbearers include Bret Adamson and Brodie Adamson.
