Nina Ruth Almon

Nina Ruth Almon, age 91, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Almon was born on October 25, 1933 in White Plains, KY to the late Willie Robert Lovan and Minnie Mae Fugate Lovan. She received her Associate of Science Degree from Madisonville Community College and worked as a registered nurse in the Obstetrics’ Unit at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Earlington, KY.

Mrs. Almon is survived by two daughters ~ Sarah Hibbs (John) and Cynthia Major both of Dawson Springs, KY.; one son, Benjamin Almon (Missy) of White Plains, KY; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband ~ Kenneth Almon, a son ~ Greg Almon; two sisters ~ Norma McNeely and Bernadine Lovan and her brother ~ James Lovan. There will be no services for Nina Ruth Almon at this time.
