Ms. Wanda Brown Tuggle

Wanda Brown Tuggle of Crofton, KY, passed away at 7:10 A.M. on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Ms. Tuggle was born October 18, 1948 in Christian County, Ky. She was a Christian County High School graduate and worked as a supervisor for U.S. Tobacco Company for 15 years. She was an original organizer for the Northwest Fire Department and served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT trainer.



Ms. Tuggle is survived by her companion of many years ~ Jack Ashley of Crofton, KY; a niece ~ Patsy Trotter Brown of Northern Christian County, KY; a great-niece ~ Erikka Brown of Crofton, KY; and a sister-in-law ~ Virginia Brown of Northern Christian County, KY.



Preceding Ms. Tuggle in death were her parents ~ William Leonard Brown & Francis O’Dean Croft Brown; a brother ~ Robert Loyd “Bobby” Brown & a nephew ~ Jeffrey Brown.



Visitation will be Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 4-8:00 P.M. and Monday, July 18, 2011 from 9:00– 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Ricky Denny on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hawkins Cemetery in Christian County, KY.



Active pallbearers will be Rick Hicks, Melvin Croft, Adrian Croft, Donnie Brown, Bobby Phelps & Jason Phelps. Members of the Northwest Fire Department will serve as Honorary pallbearers.
