The Memorial Service for Pollyanna Orange Dillingham, 94, of Dawson Springs, will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday at Beshear Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
Elder Jeff Winfrey will officiate. A private burial will take place in Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Dillingham died at 4:45 AM November 10, 2015, at Baptist Health, Madisonville.
She was born June 17, 1921, in Dawson Springs, to the late James M. and Margaret Scott Orange.
Mrs. Dillingham was a 1938 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and a former employee of Outwood VA Hospital. She worked for many years at The Dawson Springs Progress where she was part owner along with her husband. She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Madisonville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Niles O. Dillingham, April 21, 2008; a son, James E. “Jed” Dillingham, Nov. 12, 2007; four sisters, Billy Scott Orange in 1941, Elizabeth Orange Connor in 1972, Frances Orange Rhody in 2008 and Marion (Jerry) Orange Gaines in 2003.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Scott Niles and Beth Dillingham of Dawson Springs; two grandchildren, Mandi Dillingham May of Fairview, Tenn., and Robert Scott Dillingham of Brentwood, Tenn.; a stepgreat-grandson, Patrick May; and a great-granddaughter, Clara Kate Dillingham.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dawson Springs Branch Library.
