Ms. Opal M. Bennett

Opal M. Bennett, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Hillsidevilla Care & Rehabilitation of Madisonville, KY. She was born in Christian County, KY on October 17, 1933 to the late Orville Marion Sisk and Veda Morgan Sisk. She was a beloved housewife and mother and of the Pentecostal Faith.



She is survived by two sons~ John O. Cook and David Wayne “Buck” Cook both of Crofton, KY; one sister~ Barbara Abbott of Dawson Springs, KY; six grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, five step grandchildren; several nephews including Kevin Abbott and Neal Gifford.



She is preceded in death by her parents; a son~ Bobby Joe Cook, and a brother~ Robert Sisk.



Services for Ms. Opal M. Bennett will be Saturday, February 16, 2013 from at 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Darrell Gates officiating. Visitation for Ms. Bennett will be on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Ridgetop Cemetery in Crofton, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be Kevin Abbott, John Robert Cook, Neal Gifford, Travis Cook, James Mart, and Bobby Joe “B. J.” Cook, Jr.
