Ms Melva Dean Montine

Melva Dean Riley Montine, age 82, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on January 10, 2014 her residence. Ms. Montine was born on November 14, 1931 in Christian County, Kentucky to the late Melvin and Viola Brummett Riley. She worked for Moog Automotive in St. Louis, MO and was a member of New Good Hope Church in Nortonville, KY.



Ms. Montine is survived by two daughters ~Melva Parr Way of Millstadt, IL and Viola Parr Swyers and husband, Mike of Millstadt, IL; five grandchildren ~ Amy Odehnal, Leia Way, Howard James Pashia III, Bradley (Jamie) Pashia and Michael Swyers; six great-grandchildren ~ Jordan Alexander Brewer, Christopher C. Pashia, Andrew Campen, Joseph James-Roy Pashia, Alayna C. Pashia, and John P. Pashia; a brother ~ Philmon Riley and his wife, Elaine of Dawson Springs, KY.



In addition to her parents, Ms. Montine is preceded in death by her step-mother ~ Aileen Knight Oliver Riley and a great-grandson ~ Kaden Carson Pashia.



Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 8:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Phaup officiating. Burial will follow in Creekmur Cemetery in Caldwell County.
