Ms. Mary Frances Messamore

Mary Frances Messamore, age 82, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at her residence in Dawson Springs, KY. Mrs. Messamore was born on October 3, 1933 in Dawson Springs, KY to Gordon Lewis Adams and Margaret Elizabeth Ladd Adams. She was a beloved mother and homemaker, and she was a member of the Dawson Springs Missionary Baptist Temple.



Ms. Messamore is survived by three daughters ~ Linda Culver (Rick) of Waynesville, GA, Brenda Williams of Girard, OH, and Maggie Tolliver (Tommy) of Madisonville, KY; three sons ~ Larry Messamore, Jr., of Dawson Springs, KY, Bobby Joe (Rita) Messamore of Nortonville, KY and John Thomas (Trina) Messamore of Providence, KY; six brothers ~ Gordon Adams, Jr., Cleatus Adams, Arnold Lewis Adams, David Lee Adams, Roger Dale Adams and Phillip Wayne Adams all Dawson Springs, KY; five sisters ~ Christine Hale of Dawson Springs, KY, Betty June Lowe of Texas, Ruth Ann Farris of Nortonville, Elizabeth Sue Hardwick of Kokomo, IN, and Lucy Jane Rains of Cadiz, KY; fifteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.



Preceding Ms. Messamore in death were her parents, her husband ~ Walter Messamore, Jr., three sisters ~ Josephine Tyler, Ernestine Adams, and Edna Mae Adams.



Visitation for Ms. Mary Frances Messamore will be on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 12:00 PM at the Dawson Springs Missionary Baptist Temple with the Rev. Donnie Howton officiating.



Active Pallbearers will be John Thomas Messamore, J. T. Messamore, II, Keil Carter, Scott Messamore, Andy Messamore and LeRoy Messamore. Honorary Pallbearers include Davin Messamore, Ricky Messamore and Zack Messamore. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
