Ms Dora Flick Coones

Dora Flick Coones, age 64, of Dalton, KY, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at her residence in Dalton, KY. Ms. Coones was born on December 16, 1951 in Chicago, IL. She was a beloved mother and homemaker, and she had formerly worked as a nurse in the Hopkins County Hospital. She was of the Christian Faith.



Ms. Coones is survived by a daughter ~ Melissa A. Jones of Dalton, KY, and two sons ~ Anthony Ray Coones of Greenville, KY and Harold Nelson Coones of Madisonville, KY, eight brothers and sisters, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.



Preceding Ms. Coones in death were her parents ~ Ray R. Bates and Willie Katherine Farmer Bates, her husband ~ Norman Lee Coones (departed 2-20-2011), three brothers and sisters.



Visitation for Ms. Dora Flick Coones will be Friday, June 24, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY, and on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour at 11:00 AM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY



Pallbearers will be Harold N. Coones, Brian C. Jones, Dave E. Trotter, Thomas Adam Alford, Larry Allen Flick and Christopher W. Bates.
