Mrs. Wanda Faye Akin

Wanda Faye Akin, age 73, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Aken was born on April 15, 1940, in Hopkins County, KY, to the late Elmer Earnest Davis and Mary Lillian Neisz Davis. She was a mother and homemaker and also worked at Molite Manufacturing for a few years. She was of the Christian faith and was a 1958 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and Draughons Business College.



Mrs. Akin is survived by her husband ~ Billy Wayne Akin of Dawson Springs, KY; a son ~ Ernest Wayne (Kelly) Akin of Dawson Springs, KY; a grandson ~ Ty Wayne Akin; two step-grandsons ~ Maxx Phebus and Alex Phebus.



Preceding Mrs. Akin in death are her parents.



Visitation for Mrs. Wanda Faye Akin will be Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 10:00 until 12:00 noon at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Kathy Redden officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Pallbearers will be Doug Akin, Kent Akin, Anthony Jones, James Akin and Zack Crook.
