Mrs. Sue Ellen Hayne

Sue Ellen Hayne, age 81, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012. Mrs. Hayne was born August 4, 1930 in Webster County, KY. She was a mother and homemaker and sang for many years on a Sunday Radio Program in the group “The Country Gospel Singers” and was a 1948 graduate of Charleston High School.



Mrs. Hayne is survived by two daughters ~ Mary Jo Oldham and her husband Joey of Madisonville, KY & Vicki Tapp of Dawson Springs, KY; three brothers ~ Donald Stevens of Dawson Springs, KY, Billy Stevens of Dalton, KY & John Stevens of Uniontown, KY; seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mrs. Hayne in death were her parents ~ Virgil and Trudie Bruce Stevens; Her Husband ~ Charles R. “Joe” Hayne (departed 6/13/2011); a son ~ Stephen R. Hayne (departed 7/9/2011); two brothers ~ Thomas Stevens & Harold Stevens.



Visitation for Mrs. Hayne will be on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 8:00 - 12:30 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:30 P.M. on Sunday with Rev. Donnie Howton officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers will be: Joey Oldham, Jr., Michael Marszalek, Tim Sikes, Michael Oldham, Darrell Collins, & Seth Tapp.
