Mrs. Ruby Lee Orten

Ruby Lee Orten, age 75, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Orten was born on September 24, 1937 in Christian County, KY. She was a mother and homemaker and a member of ShyFlat Tabernacle.



Mrs. Orten is survived by her husband of 55 years ~ Johnny Orten of Dawson Springs, KY; one son ~ Orvel Elvis Orten of Dawson Springs, KY; & one grandson ~ Conor Orten.



Preceding Mrs. Orten in death were her parents ~ Orvel Jack & Eva Lee Croft Dawson and an infant brother.



Visitation for Mrs. Ruby Lee Orten will be on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Friday, October 19, 2012 from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in ShyFlat Tabernacle Cemetery in Christian County, KY.



Pallbearers will be Charles Carpenter, Phillip Bruce, Conor Orten, Orvel Orten, Richard Jewell, Tracey McBride.
