Mrs. Rena Howton Beshear

Rena M. Beshear, age 75, died Monday, December 3, 2012 at Tradewater Health & Rehab in Dawson Springs, KY. She was born in Hopkins County, Kentucky on September 21, 1937 to the late Edward Earl Howton & Myrtle Purdy Howton Witherspoon. She was a 1956 graduate of Charleston High School and a member of Landmark Holiness Church.



She is survived by a son~Curtis Douglas Beshear of Dawson Springs, KY; two grandchildren ~ Austin & Crissy Beshear; two great-grandchildren ~ Ivy two sisters ~ Willodean Durall of Dawson Springs, KY & Geneva White of Spotsylvania, Virginia.



She is preceded in death by her parents; her step-father ~ Paul Witherspoon; and her husband ~ James C. Beshear (departed 1/11/1967.)



Visitation for Mrs. Rena Beshear will be Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Robert Akers, Sr., Rev. Jackie Mathis & Rev. David Beshear will conduct the funeral service.
