Mrs. Nora Lee Parker

Nora Lee Parker formerly of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away at 9:42 A.M. on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at her residence in Nortonville, Kentucky. Mrs. Parker was born on March 24, 1931 in Dunbar, Oklahoma. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and was of the Protestant faith.



Mrs. Parker is survived by two daughters ~ Bonnie L. Schmutzler of Spokane, WA & Judy C. Dietz of Nortonville, KY; four sons ~ Ronald H. Parker and Alan K. Parker of Dawson Springs, KY, Kenneth L. Parker of Hopkinsville, KY & Norman R. Parker of Earlington, KY; ten grandchildren & fourteen great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mrs. Parker in death were her parents ~ Ernest Clay & Bonnie Klein Parker; her husband ~ Louis H. Parker (departed 12/15/1993); one son ~ Ernest N. Cavanaugh & one granddaughter ~ Lindsi N. Dietz.



Visitation will be Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. and Friday, October 21, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. The funeral service will be Friday, October 21, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Timmy Creekmur officiating. Burial will follow in New Beulah Cemetery.



Active pallbearers will be Steven Dietz, Mike Dietz, Bryan Dietz, Keith Deitz Tim Dietz & Jeff Davis. Joshua & Jacob Parker are Honorary Pallbearers.
