Mrs Nancy Cook Nichols

Nancy Martha “Nanny Mat” Cook Nichols, age 88, of Princeton, Kentucky (formerly of Dawson Springs, KY) passed away on December 27, 2013 at Princeton Health & Rehab in Princeton, KY. She was born on March 7, 1925, in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Ira & Rosa Robinson Cook. She was a 1941 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and worked at Potter & Brumfield Manufacturing in Marion, KY. Mrs. Nichols was a member of New Hope General Baptist Church.



Mrs. Nichols is survived by a daughter and son-in-law ~ Amelia Ann & Joe Farthing of Sturgis, KY; a son and daughter-in-law ~ Elliotte Earl “Butch” & Rebecca Jackson of Utica, KY; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren & several great-great grandchildren.



Mrs. Nichols is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband ~ Elliotte Earl Jackson; her second husband ~ Clarence Nichols; and a grandson ~ David Elliotte Jackson.



Visitation for Mrs. Nancy Nichols will be from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Beshear Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be at at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Beshear Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Roger Waters. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
