Mrs. Myrtle Mae Martin

Myrtle Mae Martin, age 97, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at Tradewater Health & Rehab in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. She was born in Christian County, Kentucky on May 10, 1915 to Ernest Williams & Vida Long Williams. Mrs. Martin worked for several years as a nurse’s aide and also at Arvin Manufacturing. She was a member of Ilsley Holiness Church.



She is survived by a daughter ~ Stacia A. Peyton of Frankfort, KY, formerly of Dawson Springs, KY; a son & daughter-in-law ~ John Randall & Patricia Martin of Ilsley, KY; a brother ~ Oliver Williams of Madisonville, KY; two grandchildren ~ Jennifer Ruane & Jonathan Peyton; a step-grandson ~ Sheldon Mitchell; four great-grandchildren ~ Peyton, Braden & Tristan Ruane & Hudson Peyton; two step-great-grandchildren ~ Everli & Blake Mitchell.



Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents and her husband ~ John Raymond Martin (departed 2/22/1979.)



Visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. William Don Watson on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 2:30 P.M. Burial will follow at Ilsley Cemetery in Ilsley, KY.
