Mrs. Martha "Miss Martha" Brewer

Martha “Miss Martha” Brewer of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Brewer was born September 22, 1950 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. She retired after teaching pre-school for many years in several schools in Hopkins County. She was a member of the Unity of Christ Church of God’s Blessing.



Mrs. Brewer is survived by her husband ~ Jimmy Rex Brewer of Ilsley, KY; Three Daughters ~ Tina Schreiber of Beulah, KY, Lisa Evans of Dawson Springs, KY & Sunday Jones of Dawson Springs, KY; One Son~ Tim Johnston of Dawson Springs, KY; & Eleven Grandchildren.



Preceding Mrs. Brewer in death were her parents ~ Finis & Mary Elizabeth Vaughn Johnson; a brother ~ Jimmy Johnson & a sister ~ Linda Johnson.



Visitation will be Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. and Monday, October 24, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. The funeral service will be Monday, October 24, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Revs. Tim Camplin, Brian Richardson & Mike Spears officiating. Burial will follow in Ilsley Cemetery in Ilsley, KY.



Pallbearers will be Jordan Dunning, Billy Wayne Brewer, Shawn Camplin, Lester Crook, James Michael Johnson & Mike Jones.
