Mrs. Martha Agnes Franklin

Martha Agnes Franklin, age 88, of Nortonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Tradewater Health and Rehab in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. Mrs. Franklin was born on October 5, 1927 in St. Charles, KY to the late James Virgil Franklin and Tressie Carlos Gray Franklin. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and a member of Gilland Ridge General Baptist Church.



Mrs. Franklin is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law ~ James Loyd and Sharon Franklin and Donald Ray and Beverly Franklin all of Nortonville, KY; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.



Preceding Mrs. Franklin in death were her parents; her husband ~ Loyd Rudolph Franklin (departed 1/25/2008); a son ~ Keith Franklin and an infant son ~ Robert Silas Franklin,



Visitation for Mrs. Martha Agnes Franklin will be on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. and on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Visitation will continue from 1:30 – 2:00 P.M. at Gilland Ridge General Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 2:00 at Gilland Ridge General Baptist Church with Rev. J.W. Haire officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery in St. Charles, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be Nathan Camplin, Shawn Camplin, Samuel Franklin, Christopher Franklin, Thomas Franklin and Aaron Franklin.
