Mrs. Frances Evelyn Morris

Frances Evelyn Morris, age 88, passed away at 10:58 P.M. on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Morris was born April 29, 1923 in Hopkins County to William Benson & Erma Riggs Hamby. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Bisbee, AZ.



Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and the co-owner of a grocery store in Hopkinsville, KY.



She is survived by a step-son ~ Russell Morris of Flagstaff, AZ; a sister ~ Sadie Lantrip of St. Charles, KY; three brothers ~ Donald Hamby & Johnny Hamby of Dawson Springs, KY; & Ralph Hamby of White Plain, KY; two grandsons ~ Robert D. Morris & Darren M. Morris & two great-granddaughters ~ Maya & Chloe Morris.



Preceding Mrs. Morris in death were her parents; her husband ~ Eugene Earl Morris (departed 1/11/2012); & one brother ~ Earl Hamby.



Visitation will be Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 9:00 -11:00 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Dennis Mayfield on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville, KY.
