Mrs. Brenda Joyce Hunt

Brenda Joyce Hunt, age 73, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. Mrs. Hunt was born on December 10, 1942 in St. Charles, KY to the late Charlie Pleasant and Evelyn Davis Pleasant. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and also worked as a retail clerk. Mrs. Hunt was a 1960 graduate of South Hopkins High School and a member of First United Methodist Church in Dawson Springs, KY.



Mrs. Hunt is survived by a daughter and son-in-law~ Stephanie and Curtis Gamblin of Princeton, KY; a son ~ Paul Hunt of Ft. Campbell, KY; a sister ~ Faye Long of Annville, KY; three grandchildren ~ Natalie Carter, Justin Gamblin and Jared Gamblin; five great0grandchildren ~ Hunter, Hayden, Charlie Ann, Hadley and Jaycee; and a special companion ~ Carlos McKnight of St. Charles, KY.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Thomas Ray Hunt (departed 8/13/2012); sisters ~ Nora Mae McKnight, Mona McGregor and Sue Vandiver and a brother ~ Ray Neal Pleasant.



Visitation for Mrs. Brenda Joyce Hunt will be Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM. with Rev. Jeff Graham and Rev. Brad Shuck officiating. Burial will follow in Menser Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Mike Long, Tommy Vandiver, Jeff Beshear, Zach Chappell, Terrell McKnight and Jeff McKnight. Frankie Pleasant will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
