Mr. Rickey D. Kingery

Rickey Darnell Kingery, age 68, of Nebo, KY, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Kingery was born on December 7, 1947 in Dawson Springs, KY to Paul “P.K.” and June Dean Kingery. He was a coal miner working at Island Creek Coal Company and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Kingery served as a Past Commander of the American Legion Post 310 and he enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. He was a member of New Abundant Life Fellowship and a 1966 graduate of West Hopkins High School.



Surviving family members include his wife ~ Nancy Baucum Kingery of Nebo, KY; two daughters ~ Stephanie Kingery of Madisonville, KY and Kim (Steve) Duncan of Madisonville, KY; two sons ~ Rickey Kingery of Corydon, KY and Clint Kingery (JoAnn) of Manitou, KY; five grandchildren ~ Johnathan (Crissy) Dutton, Christopher Stevens, Kendal Hobgood, Justin Stevenson and Megan Stevenson; and a great-granddaughter ~ Elizabeth Dutton.



He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother ~ Randy Kingery, two sisters ~ Kathy Hutchison and Karen Fork, and one step-son ~ Jamie Dutton.



Visitation for Mr. Rickey Kingery will be Friday, February 5, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 8:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with Funeral Services to be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Beshear Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Knowles officiating. Burial will follow at Fox Cemetery in Providence, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be Royce Page, Danny Darnell, Ryan Pagano, Allen Combs, Mike McCall and Truman Mannahan. Marlin Pleasant, Christopher Stevens and Harold Alshire will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
