Obituary of Paul L. Gibbs



Paul L. Gibbs, age 63, of Madisonville, Ky, died at 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at his residence. He was born March 3, 1949, in Hopkins County, to the late Roy Gibbs and Margaret Crick Gibbs Fuller.



Mr. Gibbs was a tree trimmer all of his working life. He worked with A&G Tree Services of Leitchfield, KY for many years. He was of Christian Faith.



Survivors include his wife~ Sharon Drennan Gibbs of Madisonville, KY; three daughters~ Amy Gibbs Key and Brandy Smith both of St. Charles, KY; and Lisa Gibbs of Madisonville, KY; one son~ Jonathan Drennan of Hopkinsville, KY; four sisters~ Karen Byrum of St. Louis, MO, Deborah Thomas of Bowling Green, KY, JoNell Lear of Nortonville, KY; and Janie Brown of ILL; six brothers~ Patrick Gibbs of Hopkinsville, KY, David Gibbs of Elkton, KY; Roy Gibbs of Michigan, Randall Fuller of Hopkinsville, KY, Sonny Fuller of Greenville, KY, and Carl Fuller of Louisville, KY; and ten grandchildren~ Ethan, Hailey, Kyler, Piper, Christian, Jacob, Macy, Damian, Koralyn and Preston. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.



Visitation for Mr. Gibbs will be from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 28, 2012 and from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 29, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
