Kenneth Ray Sisk, age 78, of Jackson, TN, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Arkansas. Mr. Sisk was born on January 5, 1937 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Bennie Earl Sisk and Elvie Dunbar Sisk. He was a 1955 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and served his country in the United States Army from 1960-1961. He received his associate degree from Chattanooga Community College. Mr. Sisk retired after 25 years of service with TVA and also worked for the Kentucky State Highway Department and the Tennessee Department of Transportation. Currently, he was employed by Carlock Nissan of Jackson, TN. He was a member of the Order of Kentucky Colonels and also a member of Meridian Baptist Church where he served as an usher and on the security team.
Mr. Sisk is survived by his wife ~ Loretta Bumpous Sisk of Jackson, TN; a daughter and son-in-law ~ Lorissa and Tracy Allen of Murfreesboro, TN; a son ~ Kenneth Mark Sisk of Jackson, TN; a brother and sister-in-law ~ Gary and Betty Sisk of Dawson Springs, KY; two grandchildren ~ Joshua Logan Allen and Jocelyn Lauren Allen and a nephew ~ Matthew Sisk.
Preceding Mr. Sisk in death were his parents.
Visitation for Mr. Kenneth Ray Sisk will be on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Howton officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
There will be a Memorial Service and visitation for Mr. Sisk on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Meridian Baptist Church in Jackson, TN. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 3:30 P.M. and the service will follow at 3:30 with Dr. John Enoch officiating.
