Mr. Donald R. Hensley Sr.

Donald R. Hensley, Sr., age 76, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Hensley was born on April 4, 1938 in Harlan County, KY to the late Bradley and Harriet Helton Hensley. He served his country in the United States Navy.



Mr. Hensley is survived by a daughter and son-in-law ~ Dianne and Scott Dillard of Rochelle, IL; two sons and daughters-in-law ~ Jamie and Joan Hensley of Leaf River, IL and Donald, Jr. and Lori Hensley. of Grand Detour, IL; a son ~ Gene Hensley of Rochelle, IL; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mr. Hensley in death are his parents and his wife ~ Gloria Mary Hensley (departed 10/22/2004), and a son ~ Aaron Buell 'Tooter' Hensley.



There will be no visitation or service for Mr. Donald Hensley, Sr.
