Mr. Bennie Rambo

Bennie Rambo, age 92, passed away at 7:07 P.M. on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, KY. Mr. Rambo was born March 5, 1920 to Noah Bert and Mary Lovell Rambo. He was a member of Landmark Apostolic Church in Dawson Springs, KY.



Mr. Rambo served his country in the United States Army Air Corp and he was a retired LPN from the Veterans Hospital in Marion, IL.



He is survived by his wife ~ Willie Marie Croft Rambo of Ilsley, KY; a step-daughter~ Phyllis Schroeder of Ilsley, KY; a step-son ~ Phillip Brown of Jacksonville, FL; a sister ~ Hilda Ruth Cummins of Louisville, KY; four brothers ~ Rev. Monroe Rambo of Dawson Springs, KY, Buck Rambo of Franklin, TN, Jackie Rambo of Dawson Springs, KY & Rev. Donald Rambo of Dawson Springs, KY and a host of step-grandchildren.



Preceding Mr. Rambo in death were his parents; a step-son ~ Anthony Brown; sisters ~ June Baird, Nell Buntin, Margaret Pearl Rambo & Mary Agnes Ausenbaugh; brothers ~ James Douglas Rambo, Charles Ronald Rambo and Raymond Rambo.



Friends may call beginning Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 8:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Robert Akers and Rev. Donald Rambo officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Church Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
