Mary's journey was one filled with passion and purpose. A graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in education, she embodied a lifelong love for learning and growth. As a substitute teacher for the Dawson Springs School System and a former PTO president, she poured her heart into shaping the minds of young individuals, leaving an indelible mark on each life touched. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation extended beyond the classroom as she also served as a Girl Scout Troop leader, influencing many young girls along their path to adulthood.

Mary's proudest accomplishments were not only professional but spiritual as well. A dedicated member of First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs, she shared her talents by teaching Sunday School, leading arts and crafts in Vacation Bible School, and preparing meals for senior citizens within her church family.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness cherished by many. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Gary Grisham of Dawson Springs; her daughter Debra Lee Oldham and son-in-law D.J.; granddaughter Natalee Paige Oldham; loving sister Beth Yutze; step-sister Brenda Gough; and step-brother Mark Gough. Her spirit lives on through the memories shared by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

In reflecting on her life, we remember Mary not only for her achievements but also for the love she shared with those around her. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Virginia Bryant, and a step-sister Peggy Grim.
