Mary Elizabeth Hooper

Mary Elizabeth Hooper, age 81, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at her residence. Ms. Hooper was born on May 25, 1941 to the late Amplis Owen McGregor and Anna Louise Hopper McGregor. She had several vocations; however, toward her working career she was a restaurant cook who was best known for her chocolate and coconut cream pies and meringue. She was of the Christian faith.



Ms Hooper is survived by her beloved daughter, Ranee Bahn (Jeff) of Neenah, Wisconsin; a very special friend, Sheila Ausenbaugh (Wes) of Dawson Springs, KY; brother, James Earl McGregor (Paulette) of Madisonville, KY; two grandchildren, Jared Bahn and Logan Bahn



She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Owen McGregor, and sister, Carolyn Adams.



Visitation for Mary Elizabeth Hooper will be Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 12:00 PM until the memorial service hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Elder Jeff Winfrey and Brother Bo McGregor will officiate.
