Margaret "Nell" Reynolds

Margaret "Nell" Reynolds, age 95, of Crofton, KY passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at her residence.  Ms. Reynolds was born on May 29, 1928 near Crofton, KY to the late James Gothard and Eunice P’Poole Gothard. She worked for many years as a nurses aide at Outwood and she retired with Kentucky Baptist Homes for Children where she worked as a house parent. She was a lifelong member of the West Grove Baptist Church.   

She is survived by one daughter, Janet Doyel (Steve) from Crofton, KY; two sons, Bruce Reynolds of Hopkinsville, KY and Terry Reynolds of Crofton, KY; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.  

Ms. Reynolds was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Norman Ray Reynolds; two sons, Donald Ray Reynolds and James Nelson “Jimbo” Reynolds.  

Visitation for Ms. Margaret "Nell" Reynolds will be Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. until the 2:00 P.M. funeral hour with Rev. Dwain Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Hawkins Cemetery in the Pennyrile Forest.

Pallbearers will be Steve Doyel, Matthew Doyel, Tom Reynolds, John Reynolds, Chris Driver, and Richard Gothard.
