Margaret Carroll Carner

Margaret Lorene Carroll Carner, age 100, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Princeton Health and Rehab in Princeton, KY. Mrs. Carner was born on December 1, 1924 in St. Charles, KY to the late Edgar Brown Carroll and Ruby Mae Johnson Carroll. She had worked for many years in the office at Peabody Coal Company and also worked in an airplane factory in Evansville, IN during World War II. Mrs. Carner was a member of Ilsley Baptist Church.

Mrs. Carner is survived by a daughter ~ Kim Carner; two grandchildren ~ Lucia DeLeon and Rusty P’Pool and one great-grandchild ~ Anistin P’Pool.

Preceding Mrs. Carner in death were her parents; her beloved husband ~ Harley Earl Carner (departed 11/25/2005); sisters ~ Nell East, Evelyn Jackson and Montrella Sue Moore; brothers ~ Billy Lee Carroll and Rodger Dean Carroll and two infant brothers ~ Charles Ray Carroll and Edward Egene Carroll.

Visitation for Margaret Lorene Carroll Carner will be Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM with Bro. Rodger Dean “Butch” Carroll, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Ilsley Church Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY.

Active Pallbearers are Rodger Dean “Butch” Carroll, Jr., Jason Lynn Key, Jeremy Dane Crick, Rusty P’Pool and Keith “Petey” McKinney, Jr.
