Larry Edward Mathis

Larry Edward Mathis, age 80, of Central City, KY passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Mathis was born on September 19, 1942 to the late Edward Mathis and Sanarah Poe Mathis Dalton. He served his country for three years in the US Navy and three years in US Reserves. He was a member of the Abundant Life Church of Bremen, KY and he was a retired independent contractor.

Mr. Mathis is survived by a daughter, Angela Patterson (William) of Denver, Colorado; two grandchildren, Sarah & Samantha; one sister, Jacqueline Nichols (Byron) of Randle, WA; three nephews and three nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kent Mathis, Gregory Dalton, and Shellie Dalton, and one sister, Beverly Benedict.

Visitation for Larry Edward Mathis will be from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Beshear Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St., Dawson Springs, KY 42408 with Rev. Larry Hamby officiating.  Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Dawson Springs KY.
