Joyce Katherine Laffoon, age 87, of Madisonville, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Ridgewood Health and Rehab in Madisonville, KY. Ms. Laffoon was born on August 5, 1938 in Evansville, IN to the late Rufus Lee Alexander and Mable Carner Alexander. Joyce worked as a secretary for Mine Equipment and Mill Supply and also as an administrator for several local cablevision companies in Dawson Springs. She was a 1956 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and attended the Dawson Springs Primitive Baptist Church.

Joyce is survived by her son ~ Richard L. “Rick” Laffoon of Dawson Springs, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister ~ Vicki Mouser.

Visitation for Joyce Katherine Laffoon will be Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour at 4:00 PM with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating.
