Joy Lee Fugate, age 52, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Fugate was born on May 4, 1974 in Madisonville, KY to Rebecca Cunningham Pendley and the late Aaron Eugene Pendley. Joy was a graduate of Dawson Springs High School and Madisonville Community College where she received her degree in nursing. She worked as an LPN for several nursing homes in the Dawson Springs are and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Princeton, KY.

Mrs. Fugate is survived by her husband ~ Chad Michael Fugate of Madisonville, KY; her mother ~ Rebecca Pendley of Dawson Springs, KY; her daughter ~ Cynthia Ann Solomon of Madisonville, KY; her sister ~ Dee Ann Pendley of Dawson Springs, KY and her brother ~ Scott (Shirley) Pendley of Dawson Springs, KY.

She is preceded in death by her father ~ Aaron Eugene Pendley and her son ~ Cameron Scott Solomon.

Visitation for Joy Lee Fugate will be on Sunday, November 8, 2026 from 12:30 PM until the funeral service hour at 2:30 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Kathy Redden officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Pallbearers will be: Keith Watson, Jesse Verne, Wade Workman, Hunter Pendley, Cynthia Solomon and James Farris.
