DAWSON SPRINGS
Jerry Louis “Sheep Dog” Whitfield, age 64, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Dawson Springs Health & Rehab Center. He was born on January 17, 1959 to the late Lonnie Louis Whitfield and Gloria Jean Fork Whitfield. Mr. Whitfield worked in grounds maintenance at the Hopkinsville Housing Authority for awhile. He was of the Christian Faith.
Survivors include a brother, Charles Carlton Whitfield of Mannington, KY, and two sisters, Belvia Armstrong of Spotsylvania, VA and Lillian “Ruth” Kreger (Michael) of Cleburne, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held for Jerry Louis “Sheep Dog” Whitfield on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, 2:00 PM, at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville, KY with Rev. Norman Fowler officiating.
