Gloria "Jody" Nash Nichols

Gloria “Jody” Nash Nichols, age 85, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN. Mrs. Nichols was born on February 10, 1935 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Herbert and Euvalene Baxter Nash. She was a 1952 graduate of Charleston High School and worked for many years at Ottenheimer Manufacturing and Outwood Hospital. Jody loved her cats and dogs and her newest friend, Jackson the ground hog.



Mrs. Nichols is survived by a son and daughter-in-law ~ James “Jim” and Peggy Nichols of Clarksville, TN; a sister and brother-in-law ~ Rita and Kenny Stokes of Dawson Springs, KY; a brother ~ Roger Nash of Orange, FL; a granddaughter ~ Sarah (Lucas) Nichols and many nieces and nephews.



Preceding Mrs. Nichols in death were her parents; her husband ~ James Earl Nichols; a son ~ John Earl Nichols; a sister ~ Mary McGregor and two infant brothers.



Visitation for Mrs. Gloria “Jody” Nash Nichols will be Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 12:30 until 1:30 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Rosedale Cemetery with Rev. Robert Akers and Rev. Rusty Akers officiating.



In an effort to deter the spread of covid-19 face masks and social distancing will be required.
