Garry Earl Goodaker, age 78, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Baptist Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville, KY. Garry was born on October 6, 1946 in Clay, KY to the late Royal Edward Goodaker and Edna Earle Jones Goodaker. He was a 1964 graduate of South Hopkins High School and was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Goodaker is survived by his wife ~ Sheila Beshear Goodaker; a daughter ~ Christina Terry; a son ~ Garry Scott Goodaker; and five grandchildren ~ Chasie Crook, Kayla Goodaker, Daniel Goodaker, Dillon Goodaker and Alexa Murphy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister ~ Patricia Goodaker, a brother ~ Royal Wayne Goodaker and a granddaughter ~ Taren Tapp.

Visitation for Garry Earl Goodaker, will be Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.

 Active Pallbearers will be: Garry Scott Goodaker, Dillon Goodaker, Jeff Beshear, David Goodaker, Dwayne Beshear and Brandon Duke. David Thorp, James “Stick” Bennet and David Beshear are Honorary Pallbearers.
