Dorothy L. Brewer

Dorothy L. Brewer, age 91, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at her home. Mrs. Brewer was born September 26, 1934 in Ilsley, KY to the late Walter Henry “Jack” Suttle and Mary Jane Moore Suttle. Dorothy retired from Ottenheimer Manufacturing with 35 years of service and was a member of Ilsley Community Church. She enjoyed sewing, flower arranging and spending time with her precious family. 

Mrs. Brewer is survived two sons, Billy Wayne Brewer (Debbie), Madisonville, KY; and Jimmy Rex Brewer of Dawson Springs, KY; five grandchildren, Billy Heath Brewer, Bradley Wayne Brewer, Lisa Ann Evans, Dustin Blanchard, and Jordan Dunning; fourteen great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 71 years ~ Billy Rex Brewer; her daughter ~ Lorie Ann Dunning and three sisters ~ Joyce Adams, Shelby Wood and Lois June Pryor. 

Visitation for Dorothy L. Brewer will be on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Brian Richardson and Rev. Doug Stallins officiating. Burial will be in the Ilsley Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Dustin Blanchard, Jordan Dunning, Travis Brewer, Heath Brewer, Derrick Evans and Dillon Evans.

The family would like to thank Hosparus Health for the care they provided Dorothy during her illness and final days.
