Deveeta Marlene Bennett

Deveeta Marlene Bennett, age 75, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 . Mrs. Bennett was born on November 2, 1942 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Guy Lee and Flora Mitchell Lee Purdy. She had worked at Ottenheimers Manufacturing and was a member of the Charleston Baptist Church.



Mrs. Bennett is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law ~ Evonne and Jimmy Eaves, Ginger and Dann McKnight and Wanda and John Moore all of Dawson Springs, KY; a son and daughter-in-law ~ Eddie and Amy Davis of Madisonville, KY; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.



Mrs. Bennett is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband ~ Morris Davis; her second husband ~ Walter Edward Bennett; a sister ~ Eva Lee and two brothers ~ Gene Lee and Bobby Lee.



Visitation for Mrs. Deveeta Marlene Bennett will be Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour at 11:00 AM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Patrick Yates officiating. Burial will follow at McKnight Cemetery.



Pall Bearers will be: Brian Davis, Kevin Darnell, Zach McKnight, Timmy Davis, Brandon McKnight and Jonathon Moore.
