Brenda J. Wallace’s 82 years of life cannot be contained in just a few paragraphs. Like her life, this may not be the traditional obituary. Brenda lived a full life—one that held a career, a child, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She also spent time living 50 years of adventures with the love of her life.
While there were many versions of her, one constant remained —she was a giver. If you mentioned liking something, she remembered and she gave. Sometimes in ways that made you smile, sometimes in ways that surprised you, but always from a place of wanting to give.
Brenda kept her heart carefully protected and held close. However, in those last sacred months, something within her shifted. God reached in and opened the very core of who she was. And in the nature that was Brenda J. Wallace, her story keeps giving. Reflecting mercy, hope, and grace, Brenda left us with, her greatest gift yet- the truth that God’s love remains unconditional, reaching us wherever we are. Brenda is survived by her daughter ~ Christy Wallace of Murray, KY; two sisters ~ Sue Monks of Dawson Springs, KY and Madonna P’Poole of Hopkinsville, KY; five grandchildren ~ Wesley, Shanne, Bre’Onna, Sydney and Angeleenia; and seven great-grandchildren ~ Elias, Everett, Luke, Sutton, Harvey, George and Adonis. She was preceded in death by her parents ~ Clyde Wesley Poole and Nina Lisanby Poole; her life companion ~ Charles “Buddy” Johnson; sisters ~ Delores Dearing and Connie Littlejohn; brothers ~ Arnold Poole, Randy Poole and Gary Poole; and her granddaughter ~ Konstance Faith “Coco” Logothetis. There will be no services for Brenda Joyce Wallace at this time.
