Bonnie Mae Brown

Bonnie Mae Sherman Brown, age 87, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY. Mrs. Brown was born on May 18, 1938 in Princeton, KY to the late Robert “Doc” Harris and Rosa Miller Harris. She worked as a house keeper for many years and was also a childcare provider. Mrs. Brown was a member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter ~ Anna Sherman of Dawson Springs, KY; two sons ~ Robert (Brenda) Sherman of Dawson Springs, KY and Jeff Sherman of Dawson Springs, KY; Five Grandchildren ~ James Robert (Hollie) Sherman, Tiffany (Jake) Renfro, Rosa Ray, Stephanie Clark and Justin (Jolene) Sherman and seven great-grandchildren ~ Alley, Serenity, Patience, Miracle, Jaden, Alice and Justin.

Preceding Mrs. Brown in death were her parents; her first husband~ Shirley Sherman; her second husband ~ Norman Brown; an infant son ~ James William Sherman; a sister ~ Mary Townsend; two brothers ~ James Harris and William R. Harris; two great-grandsons ~ Nathaniel Allen Ray and James Robert William Sherman.

Visitation for Bonnie Mae Sherman Brown will be Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM with Rev. Doug Stallins officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY.

Robert Sherman J.R. Sherman, Tony Johnson, Jeff Sherman, Justin Sherman and Casey Randolph will serve as pallbearers.
