Bobbie Sue Crandlemire

Bobbie Sue Crandlemire, age 61, of Hopkinsville, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at St. Thomas West, Nashville, TN. Mrs. Crandlemire was born on July 29, 1957 in Princeton, KY to the late Creighton and Martha Sue P’Pool Purdy. She was a 1975 graduate of Dawson Springs High School. She worked with Respiratory Therapy and as a LPN in many areas of nursing during her nursing career. She was a member of the Crofton Missionary Baptist Church.



Mrs. Crandlemire is survived by her husband ~ Paul Crandlemire of Hopkinsville, KY; a daughter ~ Amy (Darien) Horne of Corpus Christi, TX, two step daughters ~ Bethany Lynn (Daniel) Carter and Shelby Ann Crandlemire both of Daytona, FL, one sister ~ Amy Jo Purdy of Havana, FL, and nine grandchildren including Darien Thomas Horne, Caleb Alexander Ruttman, Gabriel Michael Horne, Makayla Ann Ruttman, Zachary William Carter, Joshua Carter, Abigail Carter, Willow Arlene Crandlemire and Winter Aurora Crandlemire.



Mrs. Crandlemire is preceded in death by her parents and her son ~ Robert Douglas “Robbie” Ruttman (departed 2-26-06).



Visitation for Bobbie Sue Crandlemire will be Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY and on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Hatley officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
