Aaron Eugene Pendley

Aaron Eugene Pendley, age 82, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026 at his home. He was born on June 3, 1944 in Nortonville, KY to the late Ed Lee Pendley and Opal Shields Pendley. Mr. Pendley retired after working 19 years as an underground coal miner and 11 years as a semi-truck driver for Wal-Mat. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs and served in the Army Reserves for 7 years.

Mr. Pendley is survived by his wife of 63 years ~ Rebecca Cunningham Pendley of Dawson Springs, KY; two daughters ~ Dee Ann Pendley of Dawson Springs, KY and Joy Fugate of Madisonville, KY; a son ~ Scott (Shirley) Pendley of Dawson Springs, KY; two grandchildren ~ Cynthia Ann Solomon and Aaron Hunter Pendley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant son ~ Eddie Ray Pendley; a sister ~ Nell Yarbrough; a half-brother ~ Billy Shield and a grandson ~ Cameron Solomon.

Visitation for Aaron Eugene Pendley will be on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 12:00 PM until the 2:00 PM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY.

Pallbearers will be: Aaron Hunter Pendley, Aron Crick, Ronnie Gentry, Jon Blalock, Perry Crick and Cynthia Soloman.
