William "Bill" Prow

William “Bill” Prow, age 81, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Prow was born on March 31, 1939 in the Charleston community to the late William Prow and Pearl Skinner Prow. He received two Masters’ Degrees from Western Kentucky University. Mr. Prow served his country in the U.S. Army for twenty years during which time he served two tours of duty in Vietnam and retired as a Lt. Colonel. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dawson Springs.



Mr. Prow is survived by his wife ~ Joyce Buchanan Ramsey Prow of Dawson Springs, KY; two sons ~ Todd (Jill) Prow of Dawson Springs, KY and Mark Evan Prow of Florida; one sister ~ Sara Riley of Hartford, KY; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.



Preceding Mr. Prow in death are his parents; his first wife ~ Mary Ruth Prow; one sister ~ Evelyn Eversman; and a brother ~ Ben Prow.



There will be a private graveside service for William “Bill” Prow on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 with Rev. Trent Keeton officiating.
